Hello again landscape photography fans. I’ve got another announcement for you. Another one of my photos received an award. Perhaps you’re not surprised as these seem to flow much more regularly now. Anyways, this award announcement is a bit unusual as I’m announcing two awards for the price of one.
Yep. You read that correctly: two awards for the price of one. I’ll explain what I mean by this. It all begins with the Viewbug email announcement telling me of another photography award. Here’s the text of the email.
Hi cramerimaging,
Your creativity is inspiring and your photo “Thor and Warriors Three” was selected to receive a new award.
Now, please note which photo title they used. They list “Thor and the Warriors Three” as the award winner. That photo received lots of decoration lately so I wasn’t surprised by this announcement.
I clicked on the link included to learn more. That’s when things got weird. I found myself greeted by a completely different photo featured with the award. Instead of Bryce Canyon, I found myself looking at a photo which I titled “Balloonfest-1” from 2019.

Obviously, I’m confused. I checked on my Viewbug account just to be sure. Both photos show the exact same award granted. This must have been some mistake or bug. How else could this happen? Anyways, here’s the award description which both photos now proudly bear.
Dear cramerimaging, this photo shows your dedication to the development and advancement of your photography and imagination. This is why your photo has been selected to receive the Top Pick Award, showing the impact of a moment and sharing it is truly encouraging for all of us. Congratulations on your artistry and your inventiveness as a creator.
The Top Pick Award is a celebration recognizing the powerful impact that you have made on the community through your creativity. Captivating images and unique moments is what we are all about. VIEWBUG wouldn’t exist without the millions of contributors, like you, who share their work and push creativity forward every day 😄 We promise we will continue working hard to elevate your photography and inspiration to new heights. Thank you!
It’s full of the usual fluffy speech I’ve come to expect with these award announcements. However, it’s still more photography awards for my landscape photos.
So, what do you think of this joint new photography award and the two photos which now bear it? Do you like them or hate them? Do you think they both deserve the award? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below. I’d love to read your feedback on the matter.
Love that you got two for the price of one! There has indeed been a marked improvement in your work over time. Nice to see you are doubly rewarded!
Thank you
