Congratulations! This photo unlocked the Echo Award—recognizing the quiet power of an image that keeps resonating. First photo or hundredth, this image is proof that your creativity continues to evolve and inspire. Every photo tells a new story. This one shines with your vision, heart, and curiosity.
Usually, I wonder at the explanations given for such awards. They seem overly fluffy and non-specific. However, this particular award does not fit that mold. Indeed, “Ice Castle” is popular on Viewbug. It’s received several peer awards, trifecta awards, and Viewbug awards. It’s popular for sure. It continues to receive attention to this day. So, the idea of “Ice Castle” “echoing” isn’t too far off from reality.
Who would have thought that this unusually-shaped piece of ice and snow protruding out into the waterfall would garner such attention? I sure didn’t when I captured the scene. It was a last-minute interest which I took a few minutes with. Well, sometimes, those are the best photos of all for me.
So, now it’s your turn. What do you think of “Ice Castle” and its new award? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award it just received? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
