As a landscape photographer, I often find ways to travel to more exotic locations, even in the United States. I want nothing but the best for my landscape photography portfolio. Who can blame me? However, I’ve also learned that sometimes the best landscape photos exist right in my own literal or metaphorical backyard. So, today I thought I’d share some landscape photos taken around the neighborhood. Please enjoy.
Ok, I’ll preface this by adding that I didn’t necessarily take these landscape photos in MY backyard. However, I took them nearby someone else’s. Depending upon where you live, you may well walk out your door and see the scenes I’ve photographed. Even if they don’t look like it, I shot each photo in a city or town. Each location is a short walk or drive away from where a landscape photographer might very well live. I’ll also add that I display these landscape photos in no particular order. Enjoy!

In conclusion, as you can see, I’ve found some amazing landscape photography opportunities super close to people. I will give you that it helps to live so close to scenic landscapes. However, you won’t find some of these locations nested in or near scenic locations. In fact, some of these locations are really quite dull and dreary landscape photography-wise. Still, I hope you enjoyed this sampling of landscape photos taken in the neighborhood from my portfolio. Perhaps they’ll inspire you to find amazing scenes around you, which others take for granted.
So, what do you think of all these landscape photos? Are they amazing especially considering where I took them? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below. I’d so love to read your feedback on the matter.
