Hello all my wonderful photography fans.  I’m pleased to announce the fact that I’ve some good news to share with all of you.  It concerns the Eastern Idaho State Fair for the year 2011.  Want to know more?  I’m ready to share it with you.

I entered the Eastern Idaho State Fair again this year.  It’s held at the Blackfoot Fairgrounds.  I joined the Advanced Amateur category again this year.  Of my 10 allowed entries, I received 2 red ribbons also called “second premium” ribbons.  I display the prizes for each photo below each entry.  Here are the award-winning photos for you to enjoy.

I thought you all might enjoy seeing these photos as I saw them when I went to the artists’ gala just before the fair opened to the public.  So, I took pictures of both my photos with their respective ribbons in place.

Now I’m looking forward to entering the Eastern Idaho State Fair photography competition next year.  I really want to see how I do against the competition.  So, I’ll start working on next years entries today.

I hope that you enjoyed this bit of good news as much as I did.  It really means something to me to see my photos receive awards.  So, what do you think of these award-winning photos of mine?  Share your love and also your constructive criticism in the comments section below.  I look forward to reading your feedback on these photos.
