Greetings once again landscape photography fans!  It’s time for some good news.  Yep, you probably guessed it if you’re a regular around here.  For all those new people, 1 of my landscape photos just received an award!  So, let’s check out what award came into my hoodoo photos this time.

In keeping with tradition, I’ll share the announcement email’s contents.  Here they are.

We’re thrilled to share the good news – your photo has received the Luminary Award!

This recognition celebrates the inspiration your photography brings to our community. We’re proud to showcase your creativity and help connect it with others who will appreciate your unique perspective.

We hope this encourages you to keep experimenting, growing, and exploring new ideas with confidence.

Of course, I clicked on the included link to see what photo received this award.  The following description was waiting for me.  It’s another fluffy and feel-good description.

Congratulations!  This photo has unlocked the Luminary Award celebrating photographers who inspire others with their creativity and passion, to those who consistently bring light to the community.  Whether through their photography or their ability to encourage fellow photographers.

Also included was a copy of this landscape photo of mine.  It is, of course, the hoodoo award winner itself.

This particular selection was a bit unexpected.  However, Viewbug does like to surprise me every so often.  This seems to be just such an instance.

You can find this hoodoo in a vastly underappreciated part of Bryce Canyon.  Even if you locate this spot, the view less than 180 degrees away often captures people’s attention instead.

This hoodoo’s quite massive compared to other hoodoos in the park.  Perhaps this photo doesn’t do it justice.  The incoming summer storm made sure that the light was soft and even for this shoot.  I really could not have asked for much better with this scene.

Still, it’s great to add another of my landscape photos to the award-winning collection.  I just didn’t expect this particular photo to join that quickly.  But I don’t mind, not at all.

So, now I turn things over to you reader.  What do you think of this landscape photo and its new award?  Do you like it?  Do you hate it?  Does it deserve the award it just received?  Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.  I’d love to read your feedback on the matter.
