I’m introducing a new series to my website here.  Over the years, I started collecting a few bts videos for the purpose of sharing on social media.  Those are great posts there.  However, they generally sit and rot in my phone afterwards.  It’s time I brought them forward again.  This is a perfect place to share all my bts videos as well where they will remain more evergreen than on social media.  Not every photo ends up for sale.  But I do share each and every one of these photos.  So, here’s my first entry.  It’s for a photo I titled “Teton Mountains and Sunflowers.”

The jagged and rather uniquely shaped Teton Mountains are some of the most famous mountains in the United States; perhaps also in the world.  It’s no wonder, then, that the mountains were incorporated into a national park.  Still, you can see the mountains from the other side as well.  This is what locals call the Idaho side of the range.

An extraordinary photo showing both the Teton Mountains and wild sunflowers caught my attention on social media.  I decided I wanted to give that idea a shot.  So, I took the trip one hot summer day.

The view is magnificent, as you can see for yourself.  However, the gnats and the mosquitos left a lot to be desired.  They swarmed around me and annoyed me.  Still, I captured something worth looking at for all of my mosquito bites and itchy skin later.  Here’s the bts video.

Now here’s the photo I captured that day.  You almost wouldn’t think it was the same day by the difference in my DSLR and my phone cameras.

Those clouds barely visible behind the mountains popped up last minute.  Without them, the sky would have been empty and boring.  Still, it was a win, I think.  Here’s more of my take on the photo shoot.

So, now I turn things over to you.  What do you think of this photo titled “Teton Mountains and Sunflowers” now that you can see the bts video?  Does it add something to the picture for you?  Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
