It’s time for some more good news, landscape photography fans.  I just received more good news in my inbox.  You probably guessed it already.  One of my landscape photos received another award.  This is such good news for me.  So, now let’s look at my landscape photo titled “Fortress” and the award which it now bears.

Now, let’s follow through with tradition at this particular juncture.  I’ll share with you the contents of the announcement email I received.  Here they are below.

Hello cramerimaging,

Our team got together and we’re excited to let you know that we’ve selected one of your photos to receive a new award.

Find out which of your photos was selected.

At this point in my photography career, I’ve seen several of these kinds of emails land in my inbox.  However, they always give me pleasure.  Of course I clicked on the included link to see which photo was newly decorated and with what decoration.  The following text met me on that landing page.

Congratulations cramerimaging, This is pretty cool from all your photos this shot has been selected by the VIEWBUG team to receive the Team’s Choice Award.  Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us.

This is a big deal! It’s pretty awesome when the VIEWBUG team recognizes that you’ve inspired us – nothing beats the idea of knowing that your creativity is being appreciated.  Thank you for sharing your photos with the VIEWBUG community!

As I also do in these announcements, here’s the beautiful landscape photo titled “Fortress” which just received the award described above.

This award seems to be a back-pat type of award.  The editing team at Viewbug (or maybe some AI) decided that this photo of mine deserved recognition.  There really isn’t any more to the description than that.

I took this photo as a hurried shot when the light was right and the skies were interesting.  However, time was limited.  I needed to return to my errand.  But, I walked away with a rather dramatic shot of a hoodoo formation which most people seem to miss.  Now it has an award of its own.

So, now I turn things over to you reader.  What do you think of my landscape photo titled “Fortress” and its new award?  Do you like it?  Do you hate it?  Does it deserve the award which it just received?  Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
