We’re still running with the behind-the-scenes videos.  They really do add something to the photo I was shooting that day.  You can see for yourself what conditions were really like.  So, it the spirit of that, we continue with another such video.  This time, I’m featuring Bryce Canyon’s Natural Bridge formation.  For those who don’t know, it’s the second most famous formation in the park.

I went out to Bryce Canyon for some last-minute photography.  I needed to get out there and do something different along with taking a picture.  We aimed for Thor’s Hammer but the trail was closed.  So, for kicks, we drove down to the Natural Bridge and were there in time for golden hour.

It’s rare to have the rim to myself, especially in the summertime.  I enjoyed seeing plenty of space for me and my tripod in addition to a distinct lack of trash in-frame.  Oftentimes, there’s a small pile of trash in front of the arch because people are careless and can’t recover their losses.  Many thanks to the nameless park rangers who take the time to clean that all up.  I captured this photo while out there.  If you want to learn more about this photo shoot, then check out this linked article.

This photo turned out better than many of my first attempts (there will be more).  Indeed, I think it looks quite good.  The framing is great, the lighting is excellent, the subject matter is top-of-the-line.  You really couldn’t ask for much more here. So, now I turn things over to you, reader.  What do you think of this photo titled “Natural Bridge” now that you can see the bts video?  Does it add something to the picture for you?  Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Interesting how the light of a sunset sets this natural arch to display such gorgeous colors. Thanks for sharing this photo.
