Hey landscape photography fans! I’ve got more good news to share with you. Once again, 1 of my landscape photos received some attention. I received another email telling me that my photo titles “Cannonville Rainbow” was awarded. So, of course, I’m sharing the wonderful news with all of you. Keep reading to learn more about this photo and its new award.
Let’s keep with tradition. Here’s what the email announcement had to say. It’s short and sweet.
Your photo is a nominee!
Good news cramerimaging,
Your photo has been selected to receive an award!
Your photograph really stood out among so many wonderful entries, and that’s fantastic.
Naturally, I clicked on the included link to learn more about this new award which Cannonville Rainbow just received. However, instead of a webpage explaining something about the award (even if fluffy and inaccurate), the link took me straight to the photo’s page on Viewbug. There were no further details to see. Instead, the photo merely now shows this award in the awards column.
Nominee in Color Chronicles Photo Contest
I’ve started receiving a few awards like this lately. Awards which seem to indicate some sort of position in a photography contest I entered. Another such example is the “Contender Award.” However, upon further investigation, they don’t seem to actually indicate anything at all other than a community award (not a peer award). Perhaps they mean some sort of finalist, but Viewbug doesn’t seem to count them as such. They’re not even honorary mentions. So, I don’t know what this award means. Still, it’s flare and recognition for a beautiful landscape photo.
So, landscape photography fan. Cannonville Rainbow is awarded once again. What do you think of this photo and its new award? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Does it deserve the award which it just received? Please leave your thoughts about this landscape photo and its new award in the comments section below. I’d really love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
