Blue is a calming and also a cold color by nature. We have also used it to represent the male gender. However, it’s a surprisingly (or perhaps unsurprisingly) common color in photography. Lately, I’ve been scanning through my portfolio and discovered just how many photos I’ve taken which feature the color blue. It’s surprisingly high in my eyes. So, I decided to feature several (but not all) the photos I’ve taken which heavily showcase the color blue.

Firstly, I’ve pulled heavily from my landscape photos for this list. Unsurprisingly, most of these landscape photos will feature water and also the sky in some fashion. However, there are other kinds of subjects mixed in too. Those photos which are up for-sale have links which will take you to the appropriate page. Also, I display these photos in no particular order. However, as you will soon see, each one features the color blue rather prominently. So, please Enjoy!

So, clearly, I’ve taken lots of photos which are heavily blue. Some of these photos were taken during blue hour. However, others were not. There’s all sorts of different shades and hues out there in my photos too.

So, for all those of you out there who are big fans of the color blue, I hope that you enjoyed and share this article with your friends. Let them also enjoy the experience of all this blue. Also, do you have any great blue photos yourself? I’d so love to see them. Please share them in the comments section below for all of us to also enjoy.
